AUSTRALIAN ACCOMMODATION MONITOR

Tourism Research Australia has released the Australian Accommodation Monitor. The Australian Accommodation Monitor (AAM) measures and tracks the performance of the Australian accommodation industry. This is a commercial solution for the national collection of accommodation data following the cessation of the Australian Bureau of Statistics Survey of Tourist Accommodation (STA).

The AAM can provide information down to the tourism region level, as long as there are enough accommodation providers in the region to generate reliable statistical information, while ensuring the confidentiality of individual information.
