South Australia Media Gallery

The South Australia Media Gallery (SA Media Gallery) is a secure online resource. It houses an extensive range of South Australian images and video which are available to media, tourism operators, travel trade and government agencies to use for the positive promotion of South Australia’s tourism regions, operators and experiences. It includes over 18,000 items including images, video footage and editorial; all of which can be viewed, ordered and downloaded online.

We manage and maintain this service which is provided at no cost to registered users.

All photographs, video footage and editorial available from the SA Media Gallery (Media Gallery Material) are protected by copyright.

Every use of Media Gallery Material must acknowledge the owner of the material and images must be captioned with the appropriate location caption. Acknowledgments and suitable image captions are provided with all Media Gallery Material.

Media Gallery Material cannot be supplied or used for commercial purposes e.g. postcards for sale.

Material may be subject to archiving from the SA Media Gallery where content does not align with our visual style or other selection criteria, the location or business has changed/ closed, or due to license expiry or copyright requirements.

To access material from the SA Media Gallery, you will be required to supply personal information as well as your company details when completing the registration process. You will need to confirm that you agree to the Terms and Conditions including that Media Gallery Material will only be used for tourism related projects.

Your application will be assessed and you will be notified via email once it has been processed. You will need to supply project details specific to the selected material for each new order you place. Be sure to provide as much detail as possible to assist us in the assessment of your registration.

If you are a photographer/videographer or tourism operator and would like to submit your imagery and/or footage for consideration to be included on the SA Media Gallery please contact us.

We will share licencing requirements and further details once you make contact. A file sharing link will also be shared with you where you can upload your content for consideration.

It is important to note that not all assets shared will be included on the SA Media Gallery. The platform houses a curated collection of content selected by the SATC which takes into consideration our visual style and can be influenced by our broader objectives. • A3 420mm x 297mm (if possible), but minimum A4 size.
