About the South Australian Tourism Commission

As the state’s tourism agency, we are responsible for promoting South Australia as a tourism destination and to further develop and improve our state’s tourism industry. You can find out more about what we do by checking out our Annual Reports and SATC Plans.

We are a statutory authority led by our Chief Executive Officer. We are governed by a Board of Directors who guide our strategic direction, monitor achievements and goals, and ensure sound corporate governance. You can find out more about our business groups and our executive team here

If you’re interested in working with us, please visit our careers page. We also have volunteer opportunities available for our managed events.

Acknowledgement of Country

Standing on Kaurna Country, the South Australian Tourism Commission recognises the uniquely diverse Aboriginal communities across the state.

We value the knowledge Aboriginal people hold of Country and culture and are committed to growing genuine relationships with Traditional Custodians.

We will continue our journey of reconciliation and support Aboriginal tourism operators and communities to tell their own stories and share their culture with the world.
