National Visitor Survey Results June 2019

South Australia’s visitor economy is now worth a record $7.6 billion, up 12 per cent, or $806 million since June 2018.

According to the National Visitor Survey, South Australia recorded 7.4 million domestic visits as of June 2019, up 12 per cent.

Day trips are up 13 per cent to 15.3 million while the top three markets that visit our state are Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland.
