Find out how to apply for next round of nature-based tourism grants

Industry is invited to join a free online information session to learn more about the 2023-24 round of the South Australian Tourism Commission’s $2 million Experience Nature Tourism Fund.

Round two grant applications will open on Monday 31 July and close on Thursday 14 September 2023.

Grants from $10,000 to $50,000 will be available for new and improved nature-based tourism products and experiences in or near a national park, reserve, wilderness protection area or marine park.

The Fund aims to showcase South Australia’s natural landscapes and make the state more competitive in luring domestic and international tourists, while encouraging visitors to enjoy and learn more about these important natural and cultural assets.

The free online information session, run in partnership with the Tourism Industry Council SA (TiCSA), will provide an overview of the Fund, the potential need of in-principle support from the Department for Environment and Water, and tips and tricks for grant writing.
