Adelaide Jobs Fair - connecting businesses with workforce

Adelaide Jobs Fair – Thursday 26 November

Connecting businesses with prospective employees

While the recent lockdown may still be having a significant impact on your business, there are more positive signs this week as we plan the way forward. One aspect that continues to be raised is access to employees, particularly leading into the summer holiday season.

With that in mind, if you're concerned about staff shortages for your tourism or hospitality business, read on.

The Australian Government’s Department of Education, Skills and Employment is running a virtual Adelaide Jobs Fair on Thursday 26 November 2020 – to provide a platform for job seekers, employers and employment service providers to discuss the jobs on offer in South Australia.

Job fairs are a great way to showcase your business to job seekers and discuss the skills you are looking for. You can conduct interviews and hire suitable people on the day.

The South Australian Tourism Commission strongly encourages businesses that are struggling to find staff, to register their business and gain access to a wide range of job seekers, from students to older Australians.

Using a virtual showroom and live chat, job seekers can approach employers to understand the roles available, ask questions and exchange details. The system is easy to use and registration is free.

  • When:  Thursday 26 November 2020
  • Time:  9.30am – 1.30pm (log in any time during these hours)
