It’s a Knockout! Adelaide Live Site the place to be as Aussies progress at World Cup
The Adelaide Live Site will again be the place to cheer on the CommBank Socceroos, as they progress into the next stage of the FIFA World Cup 2026™, following their draw with Paraguay.
With the team securing second position in Group D, and a Round of 32 match, the Live Site will be open from 3am, ahead of a 3.30am kick-off, for the clash on Saturday, 4 July.
The massive 12x7 metre screen will return meaning fans will catch all the action.
An MC and DJ will help wake the crowd up- or keep the vibe going- while food and beverages will again be available to purchase – including coffee and bacon & egg rolls.
Tens of thousands of people packed the Adelaide Live Site and watched the Socceroos in their first three matches, which saw The Drive transformed into a sea of green and gold.
If the Aussies progress further in their World Cup journey, more live site opportunities will be announced if required.
Tourism Minister Emily Bourke said; "How incredible to see the CommBank Socceroos progress to the next stage of the FIFA World Cup 2026."
"The atmosphere at the Adelaide Live Site for the first three matches has been electric and even though the match will be very early, I know fans will be out in force."
"Get down to The Drive, get decked out in green and gold, and keep showing our support for the CommBank Socceroos, especially our South Aussies who are doing an amazing job representing our state on the world stage."
Kate Owen, General Manager of Adelaide Venue Management also said it’s been fantastic to see the South Australian community rally behind the Adelaide Live Site in support of the CommBank Socceroos’ World Cup campaign.
"Fans have turned out in droves, creating an electric atmosphere and bringing incredible Australian spirit to the venue, with its central, undercover location and great food and beverage offerings proving a real drawcard."
"We’ve already welcomed thousands to The Drive across the first three matches and are excited to see the energy continue to build as the Socceroos progress through the tournament."
