Industry Update - Join the Tasting Australia 2021 program

Do you want to be a part of the 2021 Tasting Australia presented by RAA Travel program?

Applications close 18 October 2020

A reminder to all South Australian operators of restaurants, cafes, bars, wineries and distilleries, you have until Sunday 18 October to apply to host an associated event as part of the Tasting Australia presented by RAA Travel 2021 program.

The 2021 Tasting Australia presented by RAA Travel will be held from 30 April to 9 May 2021, across 10 days and two big weekends in metropolitan Adelaide and regional South Australia.

You can host an event within these 10 days as part of the 2021 program and enjoy the benefits of hooking into the Tasting Australia festival.

In 2020, prior to cancellation, the Tasting Australia associated events program had over 110 events โ€“ many of which were on track to sell out.

The associated events program is a chance to help boost business, increase brand awareness, and have festival-goers discover a new side to their favourite South Australian products and venues.

I know there is a lot on the plate of SA operators at this time, and 2021 might seem a while off right now, but I encourage you to consider an application to be part of this great festival. Your event might be a meal, tour, tasting or foraging experience, or something else entirely.

The 2021 Tasting Australia festival is set to be a chance to celebrate our local hospitality industry and to help drive the recovery of our visitor economy.

For more details, including some thought-starters on what kind of event works for a Tasting Australia audience, head to the associated events program page at tastingaustralia.com.au.

Event applications will be assessed by festival director Simon Bryant and the event management team to ensure they meet the criteria. Acceptance into the program isnโ€™t guaranteed but organisers will work with you where possible to help you be involved.

I encourage you to share this with your networks and to SA operators who might like to get involved.

Yours sincerely,

Rodney Harrex
Chief executive
