Nearly 38,000 event-goers hit the first day of the Superloop Adelaide 500 yesterday, with more track action today that will decide qualifying and the after-race concert series kicking off tonight - the 2020 Superloop Adelaide 500 has officially kicked off.

Yesterday, fans including 48 local school groups with nearly 3,000 students and teachers, enjoyed a full schedule of on track action and the anticipated return of the Stadium Super Trucks, the event debut of Trans Am Series and the first Supercars session of the year.

The second day of the 2020 Superloop Adelaide 500 gets underway today with plenty of on-track action including an historic Brabham F1 demonstration, as well as the first race of the year for all five support categories.

The Virgin Australia Supercars Championship will get serious with two practice sessions that will determine the weekend's qualifying process. With Penrite Racing's David Reynolds on top of Thursday's timesheet, Holden fans will be hoping for a fairy tale as we farewell the iconic Australian brand in Adelaide.

The off track action continues when Australian favourites Grinspoon, Sneaky Sound System and The Superjesus take to the stage for the opening night of the 2020 after-race concert series.
