Tasting Australia is a celebration of eating and drinking that began in 1997 and has grown to be one of the nation’s most popular culinary festivals. It moved from a biennial to annual event in 2017. In 2019, 64,000 people visited the Town Square hub in Adelaide’s Victoria Square. Over 160 ticketed Tasting Australia events were held across the state in 2019.
Tasting Australia is proud to work closely with South Australia’s thriving food and beverage industry. Chef Simon Bryant is the festival’s creative director, respected wine critic Nick Stock is the Beverage Director and culinary icon Cheong Liew the Tasting Australia patron.
