South Australian Tourism Commission Contractor, Volunteer and Participant Code of Conduct

The South Australian Tourism Commission (SATC) Contractor, Volunteer & Participant Code of Conduct (Code) establishes an ethical framework to guide individuals engaged by, or participating in activities with, the SATC and sets out the standards of behaviour expected in connection with that engagement.

The Code supports a safe, respectful, inclusive and professional environment and protects the reputation and integrity of the SATC.

Compliance with this Code is a condition of engagement, participation or involvement with the SATC. Failure to comply, including engaging in inappropriate behaviour, may result in action being taken, including removal from a role or activity, withdrawal of work or participation, termination of engagement or referral to a relevant authority.

Acknowledgement of Country

Standing on Kaurna Country, the South Australian Tourism Commission recognises the uniquely diverse Aboriginal communities across the state.

We value the knowledge Aboriginal people hold of Country and culture and are committed to growing genuine relationships with Traditional Custodians.

We will continue our journey of reconciliation and support Aboriginal tourism operators and communities to tell their own stories and share their culture with the world.
