South Australia has a strategy and action plan to transform the state's nature-based tourism sector.
South Australia has a strategy and action plan to transform the state's nature-based tourism sector.
The strategy and plan also outline the State Government’s commitment to work with tourism stakeholders and to encourage investment into the industry. The strategy and action plan aim to inject $350 million a year into the state economy and create 1,000 new jobs by 2020.
This is aligned to the State Government’s economic priority 5, which aims to make South Australia a growing destination of choice for international and domestic travellers.

The South Australian Government announced an exciting collection of nature-based tourism investment opportunities across the state. Opportunities across 18 sites were release for expressions of interest such as eco-sensitive accommodation, adventure tours, cafés, cellar doors or guided walks.
