More than 3,000 festivalgoers will descend on the Fleurieu Peninsula this November for the 4th annual Handpicked Festival.
A celebration of local music, produce, handmade goods and award winning wine, the Handpicked Festival has become a great addition to South Australia’s festival line up.
Matt Corby, JET, San Cisco, and The Jezabels will take the stage this year, joined by local South Australian acts Coconut Kids and The Winter Gypsy.
The festival will take place at Lake Breeze Winery, Langhorne Creek, on Saturday 11 November 2017.
The Handpicked Festival received funding through the State Government’s Regional Events and Festivals Program. Funding is used by event organisers to market and promote the event to interstate and intrastate audiences.
This is in addition to the $70 million additional funding invested in tourism to market South Australia internationally and nationally as well as attract major events and conferences to our State.

As well as having a great line-up, the Handpicked Festival showcases the best of the Fleurieu Peninsula, featuring premium food and wine and a diverse range of local arts, crafts, jewellery and homewares.
Just over an hour from Adelaide, the festival is a complete sensory experience nestled within the picturesque landscape of the Langhorne Creek wine region.
Last year, 2,500 festivalgoers made the trip to Lake Breeze Winery to enjoy all that Handpicked has to offer.
We’re expecting this year’s festival to be an even greater success, with more than 3,000 people expected to attend, creating a boost for the region’s visitor economy.
The State Government is proud to support regional events that contribute to tourism in South Australia and show our visitors the best our State has to offer.
