New holiday ideas in latest SHORTS book – out now

15 March 2013

Minister for Tourism Leon Bignell is urging South Australians to get out and see the wonders on offer throughout the state’s 11 tourism regions.

Holidaymakers can explore new ideas in the latest SHORTS book, which is now available online and through Visitor Information Centres.

Visiting Port Lincoln today, Minister Bignell said the SHORTS book has been a useful resource for South Australians for more than 20 years.

“South Australians have used the SHORTS book as a guide to holidays around the state for years now and the brand has become known as a reliable resource for many people,” Mr Bignell said.

“The latest edition features more than 15 new operators, giving South Australians opportunities to stay in new accommodation and experience new tours all around the state.

“From a new massage retreat on the Fleurieu Peninsula to walking tours in the Flinders Ranges and chauffeured motorhomes on Kangaroo Island, SHORTS brings the latest tourism offerings to South Australians.

“The SHORTS book also provides a range of accommodation and touring packages that make for an easily organised holiday.”

The book also contains valuable information about events, ‘must do’ experiences and dining options in each region.

With all of the state’s regions offering a range of experiences, the compact guide offers an easy way to get a snapshot of what each region offers.
