International stylist Nicole Bonython-Hines joins Adelaide Fashion Festival

South Australia’s Nicole Bonython-Hines, known around the world as the “stylists’ stylist”, will return home to join the creative team behind the 2015 Adelaide Fashion Festival.
Tourism Minister Leon Bignell said involving South Australians who’ve had success on the international stage was an important part of the event.
"Nicole Bonython-Hines will take the Festival to a new level, with her years of International standard styling, experience, and genuine passion,” he said.
“Nicole is renowned for her work with established designers, showcasing them in an unexpected and modern way. She is sure to bring an International standard with an edge, and will help to demonstrate South Australia’s design innovation capabilities.”
Nicole said she saw the Adelaide Fashion Festival as a wonderful opportunity to work alongside Adelaide innovative designers, many who are forging exciting careers.
“I can’t wait to collaborate and help them showcase their talents to local and broader markets. It will be exciting to see the magic of the shows come to fruition,” said Nicole.
Nicole’s international career includes Fashion Director of Australian Elle, Senior Fashion Editor-at-Large at Madison, Fashion Director at CLEO, and Fashion Director at Follow Me.
She is also an established celebrity stylist working with celebrities including Toni Collette, INXS, and Naomi Campbell.
Nicole has been credited with taking Kylie Minogue from soap star to pop princess, and put Naomi Watts on the fashion map for her red carpet moments.
The 2015 Adelaide Fashion Festival runs from October 22 to 25. It will be officially launched on August 3.
The Festival was originally established by the City of Norwood, Payneham & St Peters. As it enters its eighth year, it will be the first time the Festival has been managed by Events South Australia.
