Meat lovers are in for a treat at Tasting Australia as renowned chefs delve into the delicious ways to use less common cuts of lamb and beef.
Thomas Farms’ Carnivoré will be held on May 1 in the Adelaide Oval’s impressive new Cathedral Room.
The ‘dinner theatre’ will feature chefs Paul Wilson and Mike McEnearney, who will present a masterclass live on stage with the assistance of butcher Doug Piper.
Tourism Minister Leon Bignell said the event promised to be one of Tasting Australia’s most entertaining, revealing and delicious components.
“Tasting Australia’s program is drawing interest from across the nation and Thomas Farms’ Carnivoré is sure to be an unforgettable experience,” Mr Bignell said.
“It’s fantastic to see the Adelaide Oval’s Cathedral Room used for this dinner – it’s an amazing space that adds to the appeal of the revitalised oval and is sure to host many more spectacular events in the future.”
Thomas Farms’ Carnivoré is to be hosted by Channel 7 newsreader John Riddell and will begin at 6.30pm.Guests will be invited to interact with Paul and Mike as they reveal the secrets of using lamb and beef – then present the tasty results.
Dishes will be accompanied by premium wines and side dishes made from Thomas Farms potatoes.
