Tasting Australia is a celebration of eating and drinking that began in 1997 and has grown to be one of the nation’s most popular culinary festivals. It moved from a biennial to annual event in 2017 when it attracted more than 52,000 people to the Town Square hub in Adelaide’s Victoria Square. About 100 ticketed Tasting Australia events were held across the state in 2017, with almost 60 per cent of these selling out.
Tasting Australia is proud to work closely with South Australia’s thriving food and beverage industry. Chef Simon Bryant is the festival’s creative director, trailblazer Jock Zonfrillo its creative curator and culinary icon Cheong Liew the Tasting Australia patron.
